Embedded APAC Security Project Manager (Fortune 500)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 9am – 6 pm
Location: Singapore (On-site at Client’s office)
Reports to: Global Security Manager

Summary of the Role
The main responsibility is to ensure the efficient and upkeeping operation of the APAC security information
systems, including Access Control (Lenel), CCTV (Genetec), Two ways radio communication system
(Motorola), 6Video wall system (VEGA), Video Tele-Conference (VTC), Wireless Presentation system
(Solstice), Audio/Video transmission system (Extron), Audio microphone and speaker amplifier system
(Bose), Lighting Control System (Lite-puter), Satellite phone (Inmarsat), UPS system (Alpha) and IP
telephony (Cisco).
Role/ Responsibility includes:
•         Troubleshooting and dealing with any problems arising with the Security Systems hardware or software, escalating such issues to the approved contracted companies if required.
•         Ensuring that routine maintenance is carried out on the security systems throughout the region, using the approved contracted companies.
•         Ensuring that documentation of systems information (e.g. Server details, vendor details, etc.) are kept up to date and provide key performance metrics regarding risk management, service maturity, and service level agreements.
•         Responding to issues identified by the APAC Contracted Security Staff and client staff in other locations including Nuisance Alarms, reported camera faults, etc., for the APAC region.
•         Managing projects such as new country site set up and integration of existing offices systems.
•         Manage funding, building, sustaining, and as needed, transferring or retiring of assigned systems.
•         Measure adherence to minimum security technology standards and policy and provide recommendations for changes or updates as needed.
•         Collaborate with the Project Managers and other relevant stakeholders on planning and executions of security systems projects at TWDC facilities within the allocated budget and time.
•         Maintain software, hardware, and vulnerability management currency for assigned systems.
•         Maintain records and frequently update project management system with all relevant information for all assigned projects.
Required Skills & Experience Essential:
•         Proven background in Security Systems Management, and substantive technical experience with enterprise-grade global security systems such as access control, intrusion detection, video management, radio over IP mass notification systems etc.
•         Experience in providing security solutions, managing projects, budget input, and project updates.
•         Excellent troubleshooting skills (technical and non-technical).
•         Documentation and presentation skills.
•         Experience working in a fast paced/rapidly changing environment with little supervision.
•         Attention to details and compliance oriented.
•         Ability to maintain and develop positive working relationships with the Client and Staff.
•         Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
•         Experience of issue and conflict resolution.
•         Ability to work under own initiative, making decisions to benefit the client.
•         Experience with raising work orders.
•         Experience with editing / mark-up programs such as AutoCAD and the ability to read construction drawings.
•         Knowledge and experience with ticketing and project management systems
•         Proficient with Microsoft Office and knowledge of IT infrastructure lifecycle management
•         Extensive experience and knowledge of the following:
o Computer Networking and IT systems administration.
o CCTV (Genetec).
o Access control (Lenel).
•         Deliver excellent customer service and understand requirement to also tend to other tasks assigned to him/her.
•         Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure,
•         Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary,
•         Maintain a high standard of personal presentation,
•         Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability,
•         Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team,
•         Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the stakeholders,
•         An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity in relation to visitors’ needs,
•         Engineer level certification for security systems
•         PLRD License (Senior Security Supervisor/Chief Security Officer)
•         Desirable
•         PLRD License (Public Surveillance (CCTV).
•         First Aid at Work certificate.
•         Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field.
•         Certification for Lenel, Genetec etc.
•         Knowledge of MS Project, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Concur, and/or Big Fix.
•         Experience working in Asana, ServiceNow, and Confluence.
•         Genetec or other video management system enterprise certifications.
•         Lenel or other access control system enterprise certifications.
Site Specific Information
This is a Day role and may require out-of-hours assistance (via phone or in person) for the ASCC Duty
Team. Shift pattern subjected to be confirmed or need basis.
