BluOcean Arrives in Melbourne: Welcoming Numan

BluOcean Security is expanding our Australia footprint with a new location in Melbourne! This strategic move extends the foundation we’ve built in Sydney, strengthening our ability to support clients locally while operating as one team globally.

To lead this next chapter, we’re excited to welcome Numan Ali, who has joined BluOcean as a Project Manager. Numan will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing our presence in Melbourne and the greater Victoria region.

Meet Numan

Numan brings a strong technical foundation and delivery mindset shaped by real-world complexity. Numan has over a decade of experience in the security industry, having started his career in Electronic Engineering. He has delivered integrated security systems for complex environments including oil & gas refineries and global enterprise clients.

What stands out is how he views his work. It is not “install and move on,” it is about operational outcomes.

When asked what attracted him to BluOcean, Numan highlighted the team culture. He spoke about ownership, responsibility, and a focus on outcomes. He also noted:

However, being an “Oceaner” reaches beyond the professional role too. Outside of work, Numan recharges by spending time with his family, gaming, and working on aquascaping. He also sneaks in occasional road trips to explore what Victoria has to offer.
