Ocean’s Day 2026 in Kuala Lumpur: One Team Powered by Ocean Pride

Ocean’s Day is a key moment in BluOcean’s calendar. It’s a time to bring our growing team together in one place, to reflect on the previous year’s performance, and align the whole team with BluOcean’s initiatives and priorities for the upcoming year.


This year, we kicked Off Ocean’s Day in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a region that BluOcean has its sights on. Team members from across the APAC region and beyond met in person, some for the very first time. Many of our embedded teammates also partook in the occasion, which made the gathering even more special.


Colleagues from different functions, regions, and project sites came together to align on a simple goal: to grow together and serve our clients better. As BluOcean continues to expand, moments like this matter even more. They help us strengthen the way we operate as a single team across all regions, rather than as separate teams working in parallel.



Ocean Pride

This year’s theme was designed to motivate and unify the team around what we stand for. At its core, Ocean Pride reflects:


  • Pride in our work above business transactions

  • A commitment to delivery premium security solutions consistently across all client sites

  • A mindset of focusing on what we are capable of and continuing to raise the bar


It is a reminder that BluOcean’s standard is defined by execution, discipline, and most importantly, the people behind the work.



Reflecting on 2025 and Aligning on 2026

Ocean’s Day is not all about downtime. It also serves as an annual gut check for the business. We reviewed 2025 performance, identified both successful and challenging results, and discussed 2026 plans to improve, scale, and strengthen our cross-team collaborations.


In additional to the opening conference, teams from various departments participated in breakout sessions aimed at improving synergy across borders.



One Team, More Fun

Although we call it Ocean’s Day, the event is a three day excursion that includes team workshops, team bonding exercises, and downtime for team members to casually interact.

Ocean’s Day included a kick-off dinner where individuals were recognized for outstanding performance in respective categories.


We also joined a cooking class where teams competed against each other for best tasting dishes.


Above all, we created quality time for people to connect beyond their usual roles and locations. It was rewarding to have everyone together and see everyone who makes BluOcean Security a premium security partner in Asia Pacific.



Moving Forward

Ocean’s Day was both a reflection and a retreat. It strengthened the relationships that keep BluOcean and exciting place to work, and also reinforced the notion that BluOcean is one team, aligned on one global standard, operating with shared pride in quality work.
