Pre Sales Engineer
As a Pre Sales Engineer, you will primarily work with Sales/BD/Account Management teams to identify client’s technical requirements, recommend the suitable solutions, produce and confirm BOQ, and approve technical configurations and system solutions.
You will be meeting clients as part of the sales team, work to expand name recognition and work to create long term value.
A Pre Sales Engineer will also work closely with other team members, mainly executives, marketing, and services to add value to the organization.
Responsibilities will mainly include:
Work with the sales team to achieve business-related sales and margin targets.
Work with the sales team to draft, produce and present solutions, detailed BOQ, proposals, and quotations.
Check and approve sales quotations and proposals to ensure the solution configuration is correct.
Conduct site surveys when needed.
Represent BluOcean, meeting clients for presentations, assist with negotiations with customers as may be needed.
Main qualifications we are interested in:
Minimum 6-8 years security systems installation and project management experience.
Minimum 2-3 years pre-sales and technical support experience in the security industry.
Proven experience working with large scale projects and multi-site projects/solutions.
Proven experience working with global accounts and enterprise systems.
Strong product knowledge related to access control, CCTV, Alarm, Intercom, Turnstile/Gate control and other security related system and products.
Experience with global security systems such as Lenel/S2, Avigilon, Milestone, Genetec, Ccure, Pro-Watch, etc.
Experience with IT and networking technologies is a clear advantage.
Ability to get things done within a tight schedule and working under pressure.
Detailed oriented. Ability to produce detailed BOQ documents and solution proposals.
Client service oriented.
Go-getter and results oriented personality.
Great communications and presentations skills.
